The aim of the Abacá project is to develop a Framework for Digital Sensitivity Review, that enables depositors of digital records to review records for sensitivity, at reasonable cost, and at a manageable level of risk prior to transfer to an archive.
The proposed Abacá framework consists of a method that enables the management of the digital review process, a tool that supports the review decisions within that process, and empirical datasets (or test collection) with a methodology to evaluate both the tool and the method.
